Using PhonePe, users can send and receive money, recharge mobile, DTH, data cards, pay at stores, make utility payments, buy gold, and make investments. In 2017, PhonePe forayed into financial services with the launch of digital gold, providing users with a safe and convenient option to buy 24-karat gold securely on its platform. JOB DESCRIPTION :
1. Develop a clear understanding of revenue and cost drivers, prepare monthly financial metrics and data for the unit, provide gap analysis, value analysis increase and support stakeholders.
2. Evaluate and design appropriate internal control processes and frameworks to implement effective financial controls related to the direct costs of business operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements /group and highlight any vulnerabilities to the appropriate forums for quick issue resolution.
3. Test systems and review process controls when implementing revenue and cost systems. 4. Responsible for setting up all brokerage accounting activities, fund movements, establishing workflows and processes, closely monitoring and ensuring full compliance with host country laws.
5. Must understand SEBI regulations related to brokerage.
6. Create and maintain revenue metrics for management. 7. Identify observations/issues/control gaps in remittance/billing/collection systems/processes and report them to management.
8. Accounting and reporting of revenue and expenses according to IFRS/US GAAP requirements.
9. Report MIS to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Coordinate and create relationships with auditors (statutory and internal) to conduct quarterly/annual audits to improve controls in various business and support functions.
11. Build, develop and maintain dashboards necessary for reviewing and analyzing financial flows. Ideal candidate
12. Strong technical experience with knowledge of IFRS/IND AS/US GAAP accounting.
13. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
14. Review system controls and assess IT risks.
15. Ability to work in a diverse and multi-functional environment.
16. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and presentations.
17.Having experience in the field of stock brokerage or fund-related activities is an advantage.
