The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in Madras (now Chennai) comes under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It is primarily responsible for recruitment of labor and supervisory personnel (Group 'C') for Chennai, Salem and Tiruchirappalli divisions and Southern Railway (SR) and Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Headquarters in Chennai.
Selection process
RRB is looking for suitable candidates through Employment News (a Government of India publication). Job advertisements are also posted on our homepage. Your application will be checked for eligibility. Suitable candidates will be invited to take part in the written exam and will receive an invitation one month prior to the exam date.
For most positions, there is no interview after the written test. Some categories will have her second written exam. We will conduct psychological tests related to safety.

For document verification by RRB, you will need to obtain certificates/documents proving your educational background, age, caste, category, etc. After checking the EQ/age/caste/category certificate/documents. If the claims made in the application are not supported by certificates/documents, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.
