JOB DESCRIPTION :

CAD - Computer Aided Design
- Proficient in CAD software, defining 3D or 2D CAD models, linking design parameters or CAD elements given by PTM RD/Design Team Leader/Design Engineer.
- Identify/build 3D models that conform to mold/plastic constraints, clashes/gaps with other components, or mechanical constraints.
- Define 2D drawings, consistent with drawing rules/layout/functional tolerances.
- Responsible for the 2D/3D definition of the individual component, part of the component for correct application of Branch CAD methodology rules, quality of the CAD model, CAD quality tools, checklists check, check yourself.
- Responsible for minor technical definitions (Clamps, tracking, etc.) or local designs (Standard integration, rib reinforcement, strapping, etc.). Monitor and promote quality processes.
- Validate and track all CAD data related to your project(s) in the VLS Branch PDM/PLM system.
- Take responsibility for deadlines/costs of your tasks (Monitor performance and time) while respecting project milestones/deadlines.
- Manage CAD tasks:
- Can manage CAD operators if necessary and monitor CAD activities.
- Able to plan, identify and control CAD work order tasks as needed. Automotive, exterior lighting, headlights, taillights, Plastic Applications, Plastics - Molds/Tools
- Product design, product engineering, CATIA V5
- CAS – Computer Aided Styling
- Headlight and taillight styling is aided by a computer combined with the P1 group.
- Look for design improvements in lighting and signaling (horizontal contribution).
- Join the style dealer network
- Participate in Benchmarking activities.
Responsibility:
Monitor product development in terms of design and make suggestions
Provide design proposals in sketches, 3D and renderings.
Participate in designing and implementing models to introduce and promote new ideas
Participate in Valeo design process (DR, etc.)
